Handheld Shower Head Replacement Filter
We will continue to sell the shower head replacement filters however unfortunately, our Fixed Filtered Shower Heads and Handheld Filtered Shower Heads have been discontinued. We are currently in the process of exploring options for a new and improved shower head in the future.
I used to buy vitamin C filters made in China for my showers and, although good for my hair because they could neutralize chlorine, I switched to clearly filtered when I saw them available and read the INCREDIBLE list of toxic pollutants these filters remove! It makes me more comfortable in a world where toxic chemical use is so out of control and worsening all the time. If you can afford it, do it. Even if you can't afford it, get a drinking water filtration unit. They last forever if you take good care (had mine for about 6 years and still good). Vibrant health is priceless, and you can't have it without clean water.
I've been using these filters for about 2 years and couldn't be happier. I dont experience eye redness or skin irritations like I used to before. The water where I live is also very hard and this filter makes it softer. Awesome product!
I was hoping to find these!
I bought my hand held shower for our place in Palm Springs, CA. The company went out of business. When I ordered my water bottle from ClearlyFiltered, I was beyond happy to see that they carried my filters. I don’t know what the heck is in the water, but it does not look good and the taste is disgusting! Knowing that I’m showering in the cleanest water,I can, is such a relief. I trust ClearlyFiltered with all my water needs
Love the Filter
Hard to find a shower head where you can change out a filter!
Easy to Use
Love these. They are easy to install and exchange and my only question is figuring out how often to change them as I take a lot of baths, using the showerhead with the filter to fill the tub. I think it shortens the life of the filter, but how does one tell?
Thanks for taking the time to leave such a great review, Jane! The handheld filter's lifespan is good for about 2,500 gallons, so using it to fill the bathtub would count towards that. One way to tell is by the color of your filter—the media inside starts at a golden color and will turn dark blue or black when it's time to change.
- Free Chlorine (Cl-)
- Combined Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite)
- Hydrogen Sulfate (rotten egg smell)
- Iron oxide (rust water)
- Dirt, sediment
The material inside a brand new shower filter is a bright gold color. When the media inside turns from its original golden color to a dark grey or black color with white beads it is time to replace the cartridge.
