Love it so far!

Overall it is great, such a great option to carry around in my purse so I don’t have to totally poison myself with public water. These filters are way easier to suck water through than the life straw bottles I bought. Love the nonslip silicone bottom! Two suggestions…there should be an option to add a silicone mouth piece to the order if adults will get using it and the advertised ounce capacity is not accurate since the filter displaces a couple ounces, the amount of water that actually fits in the bottle is less than advertised.

So practical and convenient!

This bottle makes it so practical to filter my water wherever I go. I take it with me to restaurants and use it to filter the tap water that is served. I also take it with me in trips where it can be challenging to find water free of fluoride. Plus, the pink color is beautiful. Really recommend!

Love this!!!

How long will the filter last?
The bottle filter lasts up to 25 gallons or 6 months (whichever comes first). This number may vary depending on how often it is used and the amount of contaminants in the water. Generally speaking, 25 gallons is about 265 fills in this bottle. This means if you fill up a few times a day, you’ll need to replace your filter about every 2-3 months. Only fill up one or two times a day? Replace every 5-6 months.
How do I clean the water bottle? Is it dishwasher safe?
Hand-wash the bottle, straw, and mouthpiece with warm, soapy water and air dry with the lid off. Do not wash the filter. Never use on a stove or in a microwave, dishwasher, or freezer.
Which contaminants does the water bottle target? (e.g., Fluoride, Lead, Chlorine)
Our filtration technology targets over 220 contaminants. We use an independent, EPA-certified lab to rigorously test our filters to all applicable NSF standards. Here are just a few of the more notorious contaminants this filter targets:
  • Fluoride: removed at a rate of 99.5%. It is difficult to remove once it’s added into the tap water and typical carbon-block style filters don’t have fluoride removal capabilities. For that reason we specially formulated our technology so fluoride removal is standard with every filter.
  • Glyphosate: The active ingredient in Roundup® weed killer. Our filters remove >99.9% of this highly controversial chemical.
  • Lead: Even though it’s been widely banned due to its highly poisonous nature, lead pipes remain in use across all 50 states. Lead is harmful to human health even at low exposure levels and accumulates in the body over time. Removed at a rate of >99.3%.
  • Chlorine: While chlorine is effective at reducing the spread of infectious waterborne diseases, it reacts with naturally-occurring materials in water to form dangerous chemical byproducts that threaten your health. Removed at a rate of >99.5%.

Is it hard to drink water through the straw?
The filter contains a dense block of filtration material. As you draw water up through the straw the filter will cause some restriction in the flow of water, but it should feel similar to drinking a thick milkshake.
Can you put both hot and cold water in the bottle? What about ice?
We recommend only using cold water with this bottle and you can also safely add ice. Hot water, fruit, and other liquids are not compatible with the filter and not recommended.
